Real Wedding :: Karen + Tom

We had a great time working with Karen and Tom! We knew as soon as Tom showed us the video of his surprise proposal to Karen (she was in medical school and he posed as a patient in a hospital bed, then jumped out and got on one knee) that they were the perfect clients for Life Design Event Planning.  Their amazing day started at the Japanese Friendship Garden in Phoenix and wound up at The Clayton on the Park in Old Town Scottsdale.  The awe inspiring Sergio Photographer was there to capture every moment.

A mix of long and round tables as well as three different centerpiece ideas helped avoid a 'sea of sameness'

It became quite the party as the night went on!

A huge thank you to all the vendors that made this come together so beautifully! The Japanese Friendship Garden were so nice to work with and the garden made for a gorgeous ceremony.  Barb at Let Them Eat Cake took such good care of our couple and her cake was fantastic.  Heidi from Heidi's Events and Catering provided a great meal, great service, and she came to the wedding herself to see that it went off without a hitch.  Allegro Quartet played beautiful ceremony music, and Rebecca De La Torre showed us how fantastically talented she is during cocktail hour and dinner.  The Instant Classics rocked the building (literally, the windows were shaking) and the crowd loved them. Gina at Fiori Floral Design took the bride's vision and made it come to life in the flowers.  SoHyun Robinson had the bride and her girls looking amazing.  Jill with Ali Ink Designs designed such beautiful paper from the invitations to the table numbers. Laurie from Southwick Linens was a cinch to work with and she delivered beautiful green linens that added great color to the space.  Domonique, a friend of the couples, did a superb job as their officiant.  Ollie the Trolley got our entire wedding party, families, and out of town guests safely and promptly do and from the ceremony. As always, a huge thanks to Deb from Classic Party Rentals for making sure we had everything we needed. The Clayton on the Park was a kick ass reception venue and Carrie and her staff did a bang up job as usual.  Sergio and Kelly from Sergio Photographer are artistic geniuses as you can see from the photos.  And last, but not least, I would be nothing without Cicely Rocha Miller, Shannon, Kristine, Molly, and the rest of our team at Life Design Event Planning!!

With all that Life has to offer,
