This year, why not change it up with something totally different!
You don’t have to get all crazy and rent out an entire spa or sky write your feelings at sunset (although that would be completely rad, right?!). Here are 5 ways you can add a little fun and creativity to make this Valentine's Day one to remember!

1: Celebrate like a kid!

Get each other those awesome little Valentine cards that you used to exchange with your friends at school. Have a heart themed meal complete with PB & J sandwiches cut into hearts or mac & cheese with heart macaroni and don’t forget the heart shaped cookies. Then, go do something that will bring out the kid in you like laser tag or bowling or jumping to your heart’s content at a trampoline park!

2: Get outside!

Plan a picnic, go on a sunset hike, or take a trip to the zoo.  If the weather's not great, an indoor picnic on the floor with some take out or a homemade meal can be just as fun!

3: Recreate your first date.

Maybe it was to a movie. Maybe you met up for coffee. Maybe you played basketball together at the gym. Whatever it was, try to recreate that day as best you can!

4: Take a class together.

Learn to use a bow and arrow just like Cupid at an archery class. Make an amazing meal for two with a local chef. Explore your artistic side by trying your hand at screen printing or even throwing a piece of pottery (anyone remember that pottery scene from Ghost?!).

5: Forget romance and spend it with your friends.

You spend almost every other day of the year with your significant other, so why not use this day to show your friends how much you love them! Plan a wine and cheese night or a movie marathon or a spa day or an ice cream sundae party. Spoil your friends with special little gifts and treats!
